🚨 Alarm Testing, Window Washing and EV System 🔌

Fire Alarm Inspection & Testing
This year, we must undergo a five-year inspection and service on our fire alarm and sprinkler system. Our last one was performed in 2016. This inspection and service are scheduled for August 16th through August 20th.
The alarms and sprinkler inspections in the condos are only expected to take two days. The schedule for unit inspections is as follows;
North Tower – Monday, August 16th
South Tower – Tuesday, August 17th
All townhomes, 2nd-floor units, and commercial units can expect to hear alarms on both days since the north and south towers are connected on these levels.
If you have pets, meetings, zoom calls, or just can’t stand the alarms, we recommend making plans to be away from the buildings between 8 am and 5 pm during your respective days.
We cannot schedule appointments for this. We will start at the top and work our way down, starting at 8 am each day.
Window Washing
Our window washing equipment has been delayed from the end of July to the end of August due to supply chain issues. Also, we have not yet received approval from OSHA for our variance request to clean with the existing equipment.
If we receive the equipment by the end of August, then the earliest that we can window wash would be September, subject to the availability of the window cleaners.
We also have window repairs to make in the 02, 03, and 07 stacks, which we will try our hardest to have done before winter, barring any additional supply chain delays.
Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging System
EverCharge is working on running the conduit around the garage for our new charging system. However, before we can complete the installation, we need approval from the City of San Diego.
This week, the City requested a 30-day load study of our power usage as a contingency to their approval. Therefore, a device will need to be placed on our central power system for 30-days until we can respond back to the City.
As long as everything goes as planned with the load study, EverCharge should complete the installation by the end of September.
